Terms of use
The contract between you and Everdawn: what the pass actually sells, what the world deliberately does not do, and what happens when something goes wrong.
Who we are and what this document covers
Everdawn is a private Minecraft server running Polis, a mod of our own. The site everdawn.net and access to the server are provided by the operator of the project, identified at the foot of this page.
These terms apply the moment you open the site or join the server. Buying a pass means you have read them and accept them. If you do not accept them, do not buy a pass and do not join.
The privacy policy, the cookie policy, the refund policy and the community rules apply alongside this document. They are part of the same contract.
These documents exist in Ukrainian and English. Where the two differ, the Ukrainian version prevails.
Creem is the merchant of record
Payment is taken by Creem. Creem acts as the merchant of record and contractual reseller of the pass, which means the purchase contract at the payment step is with Creem: it calculates and remits the tax of your country, issues the invoice and executes refunds.
The product itself — access, its quality and its support — is ours. Refund decisions are ours too; Creem carries them out.
Creem's Buyer Terms of Service, published on creem.io, govern the payment step. We never see your card number.
What the pass grants
The pass is a subscription that puts one Minecraft account on the server whitelist and keeps it there while the subscription runs.
The pass does not sell items, currency, commands, ranks or any advantage in play. Everyone who pays gets the same access to everything the world has.
That is not a marketing promise but a requirement: the Minecraft Usage Guidelines allow charging for access to a server only where the charge is the same for everyone and opens every feature. It is also what keeps contracts meaningful — an advantage bought with money would devalue every signature in the world.

Your Minecraft account, and who may buy
You need your own licensed Minecraft account: Java Edition, version 1.21.1. Before payment we ask Mojang to confirm the account exists and to give us its UUID.
The whitelist is keyed by UUID rather than by username, so renaming does not affect access. A pass cannot be moved to another account after payment — if you mistyped the username, write to us before the first login.
The minimum age is 13. If you are under 18, the pass is bought by a parent or guardian: they enter the contract and they pay. Where digital consent comes later than 13, the age set by local law applies.
One account, one player. Sharing an account, reselling a pass and buying access on someone else's behalf are not allowed.
Price, tax and renewal
The price is shown on the payment page before you confirm. Tax — VAT, sales tax, GST — is calculated by Creem for your country and shown before payment.
The subscription renews automatically for the same period until you cancel it. The charge falls on the renewal date, to the same payment method.
We announce a price change at least 30 days ahead, by email to the address used at checkout. The new price applies from the next renewal; if it does not suit you, cancel before that date.
Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel at any time through the link in the Creem receipt email or by writing to us. Access runs to the end of the period already paid for.
The short version on money: 14 days to withdraw without giving a reason, in any country, with a proportionate deduction for the days already lived. The full terms are a document of their own.
What the world does, and what it does not
The mod's one rule: the code is a notary and an archive, never a judge. It records obligations, checks the terms a machine can check, and publishes the outcome. It does not prevent.
We promise no protection of property, buildings, resources or your character, and no line on this site should be read as such a promise. Items lost to another player's actions are an event in the world, not a service failure, and they are not grounds for a refund.
- A border warns you and shows the line, but stops nothing: you can walk straight through
- Theft is counted, not prevented
- The court decides only whether somebody did the thing; the price of a breach is fixed and public
- Punishment is carried out by players under the rules of the world, not by the server
The records are permanent
The Polis registry is public and permanent: contracts, signatures, court rulings and recorded breaches are visible to every player and do not fade with time.
The one case where a record is erased is an acquittal by the world's court. There are no map wipes. Cancelling a pass erases nothing either: your city, your contracts and your records stay in the world and wait.
Records are kept against the account's username and UUID. How that sits with the right to erasure is spelled out in the privacy policy.
Conduct and ending access
Inside the world you are judged by the world's court. At the platform level the community rules apply — they cover what is not part of the game: real threats, bullying, publishing someone's personal data, cheat clients, exploits, attacks on the infrastructure, trading access.
For a breach of the community rules we may warn you, suspend access, or end it permanently. For a serious breach, permanently and straight away.
Where access ends for a serious breach, the unused period is not refunded, except where a mandatory rule of the law of your country requires it. Any decision can be appealed by email — we answer every one.
Availability
The server runs without a guaranteed level of availability. There are updates, restarts, host failures and events beyond anyone's control.
The mod and the mod pack keep changing: mechanics may be altered, added or removed. We announce material changes in Discord.
If the server is down for more than 72 consecutive hours, or closes for good, the refund policy applies.
Rights in the content
The Polis mod, the site's code, its copy and its design belong to the operator. Minecraft, its code and its brand belong to Mojang Studios and Microsoft.
Everdawn is not an official Minecraft product. It is not approved by or associated with Mojang Studios or Microsoft.

What you build and write in the world stays yours. By buying a pass you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to show it to other players in game, in the world's registry, and in material about the project — screenshots, videos, the Showcase page.
Liability
We provide access to an entertainment service as it is. We are not responsible for what other players do, or for lost progress, items or time.
Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the pass in the 12 months before the event.
These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them: we do not limit liability for intent, gross negligence or harm to life and health, and we do not narrow any mandatory consumer right.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. Material changes are announced at least 14 days ahead in Discord and by email to the address used at checkout.
If a change does not suit you, cancel before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept it.

Law and disputes
The contract is governed by the law of Ukraine and disputes go to the courts of Ukraine — except where the law of the country you live in gives you, as a consumer, more protection. Then that law applies, and you may sue where you live.
Write to us first: most questions close in a few days by email. We answer within 5 working days.
The European ODR platform shut down on 20 July 2025, so there is no link to it here. Consumers in the EU may go to their national consumer protection authority or to their country's European Consumer Centre; in Ukraine, to the State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection.
