The client has to be updatedThis release changed the pack, and a client older than it is turned away at the door. Update the pack in the launcher before you next join.

Installing

  • Everdawn is already in the server list once the pack is installed - no address to copy.
  • The server's version shows in the server list before you connect.
  • Any launcher will do now, the official one included: one mod, and the pack arrives from the server itself.

When the pack is out of date

  • The server now says which version is needed and what to press, instead of a list of technical channels.
  • A client with no Polis at all is told so plainly rather than quietly refused.
  • This is the last time an old client sees the technical screen - it is still running the old check.

Mods

  • Sixteen mods moved to newer builds, among them JEI, KubeJS, Quark and Create Dragons Plus.
